The best European gymnasts will come to Amsterdam for the 2007 European Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships Men and Women. These championships are an important tournament on the road to the Olympic Games of 2008 in Beijing. They are the last major event before the 2007 World Championships in Germany in which countries can qualify for the Olympic Games. So, all participants must do their utmost. The 2007 European Championships will also guarantee the top gymnastics. More than 30 countries will take part in these European Championships. In Amsterdam, gymnasts will compete for the individual titles in the all-around and event finals.

‘Orange’

The Dutch gymnast selection is eager to excel in front of their own audience. Winning medals at the European and World Championships seemed unimaginable some years ago. The last few years though Dutch gymnasts have achieved success in both the Women’s and Men’s competitions. We anticipate similarly pleasing results this year along with the other thousands of fans in orange in the Amsterdam RAI.
